“Sure I don`t mind,”Will said to Damion.

"Thanks" Damion replied, sitting down beside him. "So, what are you doing out here all by yourself?"

“I enjoy the woods and I feel closer to my father when I`m out here,”Will said thinking of his father and the times they hunted together.

"Oh, I'm sorry about your father. Did he die?" Damion asked.

“Yes. 10 years ago along with the rest of mine and Raven`s village,”Will said looking at the sky.

"That's very unfortunate to hear, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's nice that you still have your sister left from it all" Damion replied. He looked around "Do you know where Katherine is?" he asked casually.

“No I don`t. Her and her brother had a disagreement and she is cooling off alone right now,”Will said to Damion.

"Which way did she go?" Damion asked curiously.

“I don`t know,”Will said watching the leaves blow in the wind.

Damion stood up "Well, I suppose I'll find my brother and most likely go back home. Goodbye" he smiled. It was going to start to get late and he still had other things he wanted to do. He walked off in the direction of the bar and went up towards Elliott "Hey, are you coming back with me?"

Elliott smirked "Well I would but Kai here is pretty drunk. I'd like to at least drop him off at his room first"

Damion sighed "Alright" he looked at Kai "Can you stand up?"

"Of course I can!" Kai glared, standing up but swaying a bit "Ta da!"

Elliott laughed "Ok, come on" he said, putting one arm around his neck to support him while Damion took the other side, walking him back to the inn. "Where's your room?" Elliott asked.
"Up there" Kai slurred, pointing up the stairs "Room 35"
Elliott and Damion went up the stairs and opened the door, setting him on the bed "Alright, you have a good night, sleep off some of that alcohol" Elliott laughed "I'll see you tomorrow" he disappeared with his brother.

Draven had wanted to fall asleep on the couch, he was starting to get tired and drinking oddly made him even more tired. "I'm going to just go now and find her. I don't know how longer I can stay up" he said to Raven with a yawn, getting up and walking off outside.

Raven watched him leave and decided to go upstairs, knowing he needed to take care of his sister alone.

Will gets up and starts back to the inn when he hears a noise and stops.'What could have made that sound,' thought Will as he made a small fireball and hoped he didn`t have to use it.

Katherine made two more steps "It's just me" she said quietly. "I'm sorry if I scared you"

“Its ok. Is everything ok,”Will asked as he made the fireball dissapear.

Katherine stayed quiet for a moment, then spoke "No" she replied simply, her face emotionless and not saying anything else.

“What ever it is we`ll make it through it. I know that we will,”Will said walking up to Katherine.

"I don't know" Katherine said quietly, looking down. "I'm going to be alone...I don't have anyone...I feel lost"

“You're not going to be alone I`ll be there with you every step of the way,”Will said looking at her.

"No, Will. You're going to end up leaving as well..You're almost 25 right? I am going to be alone. And I've never really been alone before..." Katherine frowned. She was scared, she was scared of being alone.

“No I`m not going leave you. I made a promise and I`m going to keep it no matter what,”Will said with tears in his eyes.“I`ll always be there for you.”

Katherine frowned, it hurt her to see him cry. She slowly walked up to him and put her arms around him in a hug. "I don't want you to have to burden yourself, Will. I know that people grow up and move on and I don't want you to miss out on life just because of some promise. I wouldn't let you do that"

“I can`t see my life without you in it. Promise or no promise I want to be by your side. I`ve been alone for 10 years and I`m tired of it,”Will said hugging her back.

Katherine felt herself smile softly by his words and even blush a bit "Thank you, Will, you've always been nothing but nice to me"

“Its who I am and who I will always be. Now let's go back to the inn, I`m sure your brother is worried about you,”Will said to her.

Katherine nodded and followed beside him, seeing Draven walk up to her.

"Katherine, I'm so sorry I've hurt you. I want you to know that I'll do whatever it takes to make you happy" Draven smiled

Katherine shook her head "No...I want you to go if that's what you want to do...it's hard for me to say this and I feel like I'm lying to myself, but it's true because I love you enough to want you to be happy, even if it doesn't make me happy" she saw he was going to say something and shook her head "I don't want to talk about this anymore...I just want to go to bed..." she frowned sadly and walked into the inn and up to her room, opening her door and changing into her nightgown before going to bed, although she didn't sleep immediately. She'd stayed up for a while thinking about things.

Draven looked at Will "I don't know what I'm supposed to do" he sighed, going to bed himself.

Will heads to his room and sits in a chair thinking about whats happened today and tries to relax.

Kai snored from under Katherine's bed.

Katherine quickly sat up and then looked under her bed, seeing Kai "What-get out of here!"

Kai yawned, looking over at her "Oh-sorry" he chuckled, staggering out of her room and going to Will's door and knocking. "Willll! I need a place to sleep, can I crash on your couch?" he yawned again.

“Sure go ahead,”Will said before going to sleep in the chair.

"Thanks" Kai said, walking over to his couch and plopping down, falling asleep a few minutes later and snoring a bit.

Draven woke up the next morning and sat up in his bed for a while. He finally made up his mind and now he was going to have to talk to Katherine. He knocked on her door and waited for a response.

Katherine tiredly looked over at the door "Come in" she mumbled, resting her head back on the pillow.

Draven walked in and sat on the edge of her bed. "Katherine, I'm actually going to leave for a few days, you know, test out how I feel about being away by myself..I want you to be okay with this"

Katherine frowned, sitting up. "I'm sorry about everything, Draven. I know you're getting older and you made a very good point, I'm just not used to being without you..."

Draven smiled weakly "I know and I'm not either Katherine. but, look on the bright side, you won't have me around pestering your life" he smirked

Katherine smiled a bit "Well to be honest, now that you won't be doing that anymore, I think I'm going to miss it..." she felt like she was going to cry. "Do you really have to go?" she held back the tears.

"Yes, this will be good for me. If I'm not happy with my decision, I can always come back. And plus, I'm going to come to see you at times anyways" Draven smiled, pulling her into a hug. "I'll see you soon, Katherine, I promise"

Katherine nodded and pulled away from the hug "Take care, Draven"

Draven smiled and stood up "I will and you do as well" he walked out and when he did, Katherine finally let the tears come out. Draven went over to Will's room to say goodbye and saw Raven standing there with her things "What are you doing?" he asked curiously

Raven laughed "Well, someone's gotta look after you" she teased, knowing he could fully well take care of himself.

Draven shook his head "I think you should stay here with your brother"

"Nah, we can always come back and see them again, you heard him yesterday, he'll be fine. I just really don't want to be without you" Raven smirked, knocking on Will's door. "Will, get your lazy butt up!" she grinned.

Will gets up and opens the door.“Hey sis whats up,”Will said with a smile.

"We're going on a trip" Raven spoke before Draven could "I don't know when we'll be back but of course we're going to see you again sometime soon" she smiled, giving him a quick hug "have fun and stay out of trouble" she stepped back to let Draven say goodbye next.

Draven smiled, walking up to Will "It was really nice getting to know you, Will. You're truly a great person, take care of yourself"

Raven nodded and looked at Draven "Alright, alright, let's get this over with before I cry" she smirked, waving goodbye to Will. "Bye Will, see you soon! Promise!" she walked off with Draven following behind her.

Kai snored a bit, not being phased at all by people talking.

“Same to you and see ya soon,”Will said as they left.

Kai yawned and sat up "You are so noisy!" he muttered, leaving out of the room and going downstairs to get something to drink.

“Chill out Kai,”Will said as he went to check on Katherine.Will stops and knocks on her door.“Can I come in.”

Kai yawned, getting something to eat with some coffee.

Katherine quickly wiped away her tears "Yes, come in" she replied with a forced smile.

Will opens the door and walks in to her room and closes the door before walking over to her.“It`ll be ok. We will see them again,”Will said giving Katherine a hug.

Katherine smiled and returned the hug "Yeah, it's just going to be weird with it only being you me and Kai" she replied, sighing.

“Yea it is. We never did get to mess with Kai yesterday,”Will said as he sat down beside Katherine.

Katherine smirked "No, we didn't, I guess it's an objective for today" she grinned.

“So what should we do to him,”Will said looking out the window at the water tower.

Katherine laughed "I'm not quite sure, it's definitely something to think about" she stood up "I'm going to take a shower" she smiled, walking into her bathroom.

Damion nervously knocked at the door, waiting for a response.

Will walks over to the door and opens it.“Hello Damion how are you today,”Will asked him.

Damion was taken aback to see Will open the door but smiled "Hello, I'm doing good thank you, and yourself?" he asked, looking into the room "Do you by any chance know if Katherine would be free today? I would really like to spend some time with her"

“I`m doing good and I think so. We had planed to mess with Kai today,”Will said to Damion.

Damion laughed "Good, he deserves it" he looked at Katherine who was dressed and was now brushing her hair. He walked past Will and inside "Hello Katherine, you look lovely as always. I was wondering if you'd like to spend some time with me. I understand you'll be busy bothering Kai but-I thought maybe...maybe you could spend some time with me" he smiled.

Katherine felt a bit shocked "Oh...well...I'm not sure..." she watched as he frowned with her answer and smiled "I'd love to spend some time with you later, Damion. Could Will come as well?"

"Well..." Damion sighed, he didn't really feel like explaining it was more of a date. "I guess he could come" he said, a bit unsatisfied with how it had turned out. "I'll see you later then when you're ready" he smiled and walked out.

Will watched him leave and then looks out the window.“Something big is heading this way,”Will said with a worried look on his face.“And its not human.”

"Well, that's not too scary is it? I mean, none of us are human" Katherine smirked.

Kai walked upstairs "I'm going to the underworld for a while, are you guys going to stay here?"

“I`m staying. Katherine I`ll be back in a bit I think I`ll go check out what this thing is,”Will said as he walked out of her room and the inn and started running to where the creature was.

Ichigo Kurosaki was jumping from rooftop to roof top tracking the hollow that just appeared.“Get a move on Rukia. We need to stop this hollow from killing the people of this village,”He said to his fellow soul reaper and friend.

Rukia sighed "I'm going as fast as I can" she muttered "It'll be fine, we'll get him"

Katherine looked over at Kai "I'll go with you" she smiled

Kai grinned "That's my girl" he said, disappearing with her.

Katherine saw Damion who smiled, happy to see that she'd come.
"Hello Katherine, I thought maybe we could see professor Tayrn again and then afterwards get a drink" Damion smiled

Kai rolled his eyes "Honestly Damion, you're far too obvious, she's already going to go with me"

Katherine looked over at Damion "I'll go with you" she smiled, walking off with Damion.

Kai glared "Oh sure, leave me! See if I care!" he muttered, walking off to find a girl.

Will stops as he sees the creature for the first time. It had a white bone like mask with a black body and a hole in its chest.“Oh man just what I needed today another fight,”Will said as he drew both of his swords and started to attack the creature.

Ichigo arrives to see Will get slammed into a building.“Rukia get him out of danger I`ll finish the hollow,”Ichigo said as he drew Zengetsu from behind him and attacked the hollow.

Rukia nodded and grabbed onto Will's arm "Come on, you shouldn't be near here" she scolded, leading him away from the fight.

Katherine walked up with Damion, seeing Tayrn reading a book outside. "Hello" he smiled "Is there anything I can help with today?" he asked.

"Well actually I was wondering if we could give Katherine another try" Damion smiled

"Of course we can" Tayrn said, looking at Katherine "Do you think you'll do better this time?"

Katherine smiled "I should hope so"

Tayrn smiled "Alright then, let's get to the arena" he said, walking off to the training grounds followed by Tayrn and Damion.

“What was that thing and who are you,”Will asked as he heard the orange haired teen yell “Getsuga Tensho” at the creature.

Ichigo called out the name of the attack and sent the crescent shaped wave of energy into the hollow`s mask, cracking it and causing the hollow to disappear.“That was almost too easy,”Ichigo said as he caught up to Rukia and Will.“Who`s the kid.”

"I'm Rukia Kuchiki and that's Ichigo Kurosaki, we're soul reapers. That ugly monster that you just saw is called a Hollow" Rukia explained with a sigh. She looked at Will, waiting to hear his name.

“My name is Will Blackfire and thank you for saving me,”Will said to both Ichigo and Rukia.

“I know you from somewhere. Rukia wasn`t there a village near here that was attacked 10 years ago,”Ichigo asked Rukia.

Rukia nodded "I think I do remember that" she replied

“I along with my sister are the only survivors of that village,”Will said to Ichigo.

“I know how it feels to lose someone. I lost my mother to a hollow when I was younger,”Ichigo said to Will.

Rukia frowned "Death is inevitable but it's always such a tragic thing" she looked around "I'm going to look around and see what this place is like" she said, walking off.

“I`m heading back to the inn where my friends and I are staying. Your more than welcome to join me if you want,”Will said to Ichigo as he made his way to the inn.

“Sure I`ll join you,”Ichigo said following Will.

Elliott and Kai were in the lounge of the inn, sitting at the table and just being loud as they drank and carried on.

Will hears Kai`s voice and shakes his head.“Looks like my friends are back,”Will said as he walked into the inn.“Just don`t try to fight them ok Ichigo.”

“Just as long as they don`t start something with me,”Ichigo said following Will inside.

Kai and Elliott looked over in Will's direction "Hey!" Kai said, then looking at Ichigo "What's with the guy wearing the weird clothes?"

Elliott chuckled "be nice, maybe he's from a different part of the world"

Katherine was about to leave with Damion when Belle came up to her, giving her a bag of things "Don't look in here now, save it for later!" Belle grinned "I made it myself and it's very good!"
Katherine laughed "Well thank you" she smiled
Belle pulled Katherine into a strong hug "You're so very welcome, dear. I really wish my son would just marry you, then you'd be my daughter!" she grinned, waving and walking off.

Damion chuckled "You with Kai..."

Katherine smirked "I don't even want to think about it, I don't need the nightmares, thank you"

Damion smiled at her, he really just wanted to hold her in his arms and kiss her. She was so beautiful and he really just liked everything about her.

Katherine noticed him smiling at her and staring "Is there something wrong?"

Damion quickly shook his head "no, sorry! I just kind of dazed out, are you ready to go?"

“Kai chill out. This is Ichigo Kurasaki and he`s a soul reaper,”Will said to Kai.

“Yea I had to save Will from a Hollow a couple of hours ago,”Ichigo said to Will`s friend.

Kai blinked and started laughing "Wait, soul reaper, are you for real right now?"

"Yes, I think I am" Katherine smiled, holding onto the heavy bag that Kai's mother had given her.

Damion smiled and put his arm around her, appearing back at the inn.

Katherine noticed his arm around her when they'd appeared and started to walk off to the stairs "I'm-going to go upstairs and put my things away" she called back, going up the stairs and to her room.

"Good going, Damion" Elliott chuckled "I told you she already likes Will"

Damion glared "She's said nothing about another man and I refuse to believe it until then" he disappeared angrily.

Kai laughed "Your brother has the hots for Katherine?"

"Pretty much" Elliott grinned

Kai smirked "That's a shame since I found her first" he winked.

“Yes I am. Why don`t you ask his friend Rukia,”Will said as Rukia walked in.

Kai looked over at Rukia "You sure are short..."

Rukia glared "What'd you just call me?!"

Kai laughed "Whoooa there, I was just making a comment" he smirked, standing up "So, they're both looney, and obviously you are too for believing all of this" Kai left upstairs to go see Katherine.

Elliott grinned "Ignore his rudeness" he said, going after Kai.
